The issuance of Parking Tickets by personnel of the Kutztown Borough Police Department is necessary to regulate Borough and Commonwealth parking statutes.
Occasionally, members of the community receive Parking Tickets and it is important that the procedure for responding to Parking Tickets be understood and followed in order to prevent additional costs being assessed.
Most Parking Tickets issued by personnel of the Kutztown Borough Police Department cost $25.00 if the Parking Ticket is paid within 20 days from the date of issuance. Handicap Parking violations are $50.00 if paid within 20 days from issuance.

A $2.50 service fee will be charged on all credit card transactions. Cash, check, and money orders are still accepted at Kutztown Borough Hall.
DO NOT PLACE CASH with your ticket if making payment by mail or depositing the envelope in the “PARKING TICKET” box.
Payment by check or money order shall be made payable to Borough of Kutztown. Ticket # should be indicated on form of payment.
If the Parking Ticket is not paid within 20 days, payment for this Parking Ticket WILL NOT be accepted and will be returned to the payee.
For those Parking Tickets not paid within 20 days, a Pennsylvania traffic citation will be issued against the owner of the vehicle unless the actual vehicle operator is known to the Police Department.
The cost for traffic citations issued due to non-payment of a parking ticket is the original fine amount doubled and additional fees being assessed. The average total cost for a traffic citation issued for a parking violation is in excess of $100.00.
